We ordered a Dutch Ricedish, which is a three-dish combination of the Dutch specialities served at this restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was tasty and filling (lots and lots of potato! be warned!), and between I, my husband and our three-year-old, we just about managed to finish the food (to which, the waitress appeared slightly surprised!). Therefore, go hungry.
Sadly, we had no stomach space left for desserts, which would have been good too, I think.
Service was affable and I love the slightly wacky decor of the restaurant and its mismatching crockery. Very interesting.
Be sure to make a reservation. We didn't, and we were asked to either come back one hour later, or sit at the tables by the sidewalk. We chose to sit by the sidewalk in a chilling wind, but the servers thoughtfully turned on the heat lamp for us, so that worked out well.
In all, a great experience.
