Excellent service and food. Well proportioned dishes. Complimentary pre-starter was a nice touch. Not oily like some of the other Thai restaurants in Amsterdam. Will definately return.

“Great Thai in amsterdam !!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

We happen to go to this restaurant after visiting the Anne frank house today. It doesn't look like much from the outside so don't be discouraged. The food was great!! We had pad Thai, Tom young guy soup and the chicken basil. All were made fresh and were great! Would definitely go back if we were here longer.

“Another good Thai place”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

I had dinner here last weekend and it was another good experience.I heard good stories and I must say I wasn't disappointed. We started with an appetizer of tuna. The Som Tam and Laab Ped where very good, could have been a little more spicy but good indeed.
We had a variety of dishes so we could share amongst the 4 of us. Chicken in pandang leaves, sateh and fish cakes; all well prepared and very tasty.
The main dishes were all good flavored and came all at once. Really nice experience. Make sure you have reservations especially in the weekend because all tables where booked. We saw a lot of people come in and go again because nothing was available.
Friendly staff and even with a full place (one table with some 10 persons) we did not have to wait long for all the courses. Very nice place.

Nothing special but thai food is good in general. People were nice. If you are around and feel like eating thai you can go but don ´t travel the city for that

“Tasty very very tasty”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

A small 40 seater restauant in a lovely area of Amsterdam about a 12 minute walk from Anne Frank Museam.

The staff were very friendly and attentive but not overly so.

A complementary snack on a silver spoon ... nice and a bit spicy.

We have the mixed starter - Chicken skewers, crab cakes, shrimp, sprint roll, shrimp and chicken battered parcels, plus 3 sauces ...... well cooked and tasty.

For the main course we had two dishes.

The first a beef red curry. This was listed as 2 stars - medium heat. This dish was FANTASTIC the correct amount of heat - a medium heat as described in the menu. The beef was tender and the liquor flavoursome.

The second a venison in a thai basil and chilli sauce. Again this dish was listed a 2 stars - medium spice. Well the dish was more like a 3 star heat ..... HOT!!! :-) A little to hot for us but we managed and again it was tasty the meat was tender.

We only mention this as there does not appear to be parity in the heat descriptions give so best to check with the waitresses when you order.

Our meal came to 82 euros , 22 of this was for a bottle of wine

We would highly recommend this restaurant .. To the staff thanks for a lovely night
