Initially we had intended to eat in Leidseplein but the only Indian restaurants we could find in that area were tucked away down dodgy backstreets. Eventually after scouring our Lonely Planet guide we came across a recommendation for this place. It was a fair way out of the city centre but relatively easy to get to and worth the trip.
The restaurant is quite small so it felt intimate and relaxed which we really appreciated after a hectic day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a side of Bombay Potatoes on the house which was nice of them. The food was delicious and was also served quickly which is always a bonus. Prices were much cheaper than we had expected and I'd definitely go back if we were in the area.
