I agree with everyone else here, and found it on TripAdvisor. Such a great little restaurant, very busy, packed, people were constantly turned away - book in advance to be sure of getting a table.
Superb service in such a busy restaurant. Wonderful Dutch food (and wine) - all three courses. If you want a grand restaurant with long elaborate menus and fussy meals this is not the place for you. If you don't mind somewhat crowded tables and attendant noise, but are looking for good simple authentic Dutch food with excellent service, go here.
It was interesting to note that the next door German restaurant (same size) was completely empty when we were there. And that all along adjacent streets, restaurants employed people to call out to pedestrians to come into their places. The Pantry is doing well, and so it should. I'm glad we went and will definitely return next time we're in Amsterdam.
