After strolling around Amsterdam all day my friend and I fortuitously dropped in to Sluizer for dinner. What is it about these amazing Amsterdammers? From owner to waiters to busboys...all of them are charming, helpful, accommodating, pleasant. How does this happen? I don't know but I know I like it and the food is amazing also. We had a delicious smoked sea bass with ratatouille and rice. Appetizer was goat cheese in filo. I checked out what other diner's were eating and everything looked delicious. It seemed to me that the restaurant was frequented by locals and not just tourists. A good sign! Eat here if you get a chance. Highly recommend!
