Visited "Simpel" based on our hotel's recommendation. Cosy but stylish place, the design being skillfully on the edge of modern cold, but not quite. Location conveniently close to the main art museums. The small staff was friendly but, as the restaurant became crowded towards the evening, made a slightly overworked impression. The food was good average. Our starter, the chopped mackrel, came across somewhat tasteless, but the chicken as the main course was a solid performance. Asked the baked potatoes in my portion to be replaced by french fries, but got them instead as an extra side dish, which, of course, was also charged. Minor mishap.
