Great little bar where you can sit back and chill out. The service is really friendly and laid back. You can even buy the famous Amsterdam chips opposite and eat them in the bar. Free wifi too! Chairs are not the most comfortable though!

It's called Havelaar Café but is more of a pub that sells a small range of light lunches. It's a lovely cosy place and the staff are really friendly. They had run out of the beer I wanted but recommended another that they had, which was actually better!
The first visit I had a cheese and tomato toastie, and the second time the leek and potato soup. Both were lovely and very welcome on the cold days. The food arrived quickly.
I would recommend it, but the food is limited so yes, ideal for a quick lunch but not a proper meal. You are allowed to take your chips bought from the booth across the road into the pub if you buy a drink too.
