Lovely quite hotel, in great location.
We didn't have a car so used public transport. Takes about 30 mins to get to the Amesterdam central via bus 30 (this stops almost right outside the hotel) and bus 32 which goes right to central. Hotel room was nice and cleaned everyday, a bit warm as it was a top room ( a fan had been provided and this took care of this). Nice simple breakfast, may not be much for some people but ok for us. Had a lunch and a few dinners at the hotel ( in the restaurant and on the hotel pier) and felt it was good if just a touch expensive ( but as it's the only place to eat and you don't have to eat at the hotel we had no complaints). Location is just what we wanted and we felt is was lovely, could have gone for a bike ride, but run out of time. We both hope to go back next year for another visit and would have no problem telling our friends and family about this hotel.

Room Tip: If you want a quite room choose one of the rooms away from the road, we had one and had the window o...

By far the worst hotel experience ever! Thought a booked a lovely deluxe room with balcony, minibar, climate control, refrigerator and view on the garden to name a view. What I got on arrival was a dark, warm small room, no balcony, no minibar, no climate control and a window so high that a person of average length could not look through. The staff were unable to give me the room I actually booked, apparently because it didn't actually exist. They were also unable to refund. To authorise that they needed to speak to the owner. Who, perhaps unsurprisingly, did not reply to either texts, voicemail or emails. Bizarly, the manager told me that nobody ever objected to not getting the room they actually paid for??!!
In short, in the end I had to leave without a refund but with assurances that the owner would contact me to sort it out. Aha. Needless to say that hasn't happened yet.
In short, do not trust this hotels own website or the various online booking agencies they advertise on. Or more simply, just don't book this hotel.

Loved this place. It was the perfect escape from Amsterdam city centre, although only 15 mins away and easily accessible. We felt it gave us a glimpse into life outside the city. The restaurant was also lovely, an interesting menu that did not disappoint.

Room Tip: We were fortunate to have a view over the waterfront which really made our visit.

Very nice small hotel which gives you real Dutch flavor. We took lake view room and it was great: room was very spacious with kind of antique furniture and amazing view. The only disappointment was a bit outdated bathroom. Breakfast was continental but with excellent food quality. Service wise - no issue, really friendly staff.
The only thing is that this hotel is convenient if you travel by car (parking is 10 euro only!), otherwise it's quite far from Amsterdam.

Room Tip: Go for lake view!

I stayed for business with a colleague for 1 night. Could not find a hotel in Amsterdam so ended up staying here. The price was good (compared to usual 100-150€). Room was good and clean. I didn't see any spiders in my room. Food a bit pricy but it's a captive audience. We ate dinner and it was fine. Free wifi but charge for car parking which is annoying. Guy behind the bar was great to chat with. Tot ziens.

We got there as planned and took the key to the room for 5 people. It has no stairs but some lousy wooden ladder! We could not get our bag there, so the guy checked us in helped climbing up that ladder with the heavy bag. But then we found out that the room was infested by dozens of spiders and insects. All around the room and corridors.
My kids freaked out and almost fell that ladder on their way out screaming.
The owner did not agree to refund us. What a crook!

Stay away from there! It is the worst place ever.
They probably fake reviews here, or else why would anybody say it is a nice place?!

never go there.

Rooms are too dirty. A lot of pests and spiders in beds and ceilings.
Keep away!
There are much better places around that area. We moved to a better place and the owner did not agree to refund!
Bad people!

Room Tip: Keep away. Very horrible place.
