We stayed in the Asian room, which had a lovely feel with a beautiful wardrobe and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and just down the hall. Breakfast was a well-stocked continental (cheeses, hams, yoghurt, pastries, cereal). It is a little further out from the center but you can easily and quickly get there via nearby tram or metro stations. It was nice to travel through various neighbourhoods on the tram. Just down the street (turn left out of the door)) from the b&b is a brilliant, bustling bar called Mechelen, which served great drinks and food. And if you take a right over the bridge before this bar you get to a load of nice looking cafes, some with outdoor seating. Blaine and Peter were accommodating hosts and their American Spaniel Jess was the best!!
We had the pleasure of eating at their Season's restaurant for free because we stayed 3+ nights. This is a very generous offer - three courses! The food was fantastic and it was a very convivial place. We would pay to eat there next time!!
