I stayed in this hotel recently and was very impressed, I initially booked the hotel for the Thursday and Friday night but due to bad weather wasn't able to arrive on the Thursday, contacted the hotel and they very kindly changed the booking to the Friday and Saturday which I thought was very kind. On arrival the staff were very nice and offered us a room very early in the day but stated if we were willing to wait they had a lovely room lined up for us so we did. On arriving back and getting our room it was well worth it as it was massive, the bathroom which had a full size bath along with twin sinks and separate shower room was as big as the bedroom, huge bed with lovely pillows and duvet, my partner stated she wished she could take them home. Although our room was near to the street and canals it was very quiet. The complimentary mini bar was a lovely touch too with the maid knocking on the door in the early evening asking if we needed anything, another nice touch. The hotel is obviously old in decor and fittings but it's so big and roomy, staff were so helpful and the location was slap bang in the centre of everything. Would so recommend this hotel for lots of reasons, really enjoyed my stay and would certainly go back.

Went as a group of 4 couples and on arrival 3 were upgraded. Had a lovely room overlooking the canal, large, clean and well equipped with a free mini bar. Unfortunately I had an accident but the hotel lent us a wheelchair free of charge which enabled me to get around and enjoy the rest of my stay.Did not eat at the restaurant as it is close to many restaurants and bars. The staff, particularly the concierge were friendly and helpful, providing maps and directions, and checking in for return flights. would definately reccomend

Lovely room, really spacious with separate toilet. Mini bar is included in price which is a nice touch. Spa is really lovely, pool is just the right temperature and big enough for a good few lengths.
Hotel is a strange shape and entrance door should be moved to front of hotel to let more light in.
Restaurant was really good, food was great and staff nice and friendly.

Amazing old building which was originally a shipping office with a really impressive art nouveau staircase and windows. Our room was a very unusual shape, very large with a nice modern bathroom. The view was not that great being at the back of the hotel and overlooking a building site but it was very quiet. Breakfast on the first morning was disappointing as they had run out of a number of food items also bowls to eat cereal or yogurt from, we were offered plates!! Got some bowls eventually but the staff were not very helpful. However great doormen, helpful and well informed. Easy walking distance to station and boat tour stops, also restaurants and bars.
Would recommend over boring modern hotels where each room is exactly the same, characterful and interesting!

This imposing hotel is both good on the outside and amazing on the inside! Superb location - approx 10 min walk from Central Station, and easy walking distance to Dam Square and the local sites.

Room was quite big and spotlessly clean! Mini-bar included in the rate is a great touch; 2 bottles of lager, coke, diet coke, water, red and white wines, nespresso coffee machine - superb! Great modern bathroom, with separate shower. Room air-conditioned, with large flat screen TV and amazingly high ceilings!

Other people in our party used the swimming pool and sauna facilities and raved about them.

Didn't dine in the hotel bar or restaurant, though they seemed quite big and prices relatively cheap in comparison to some of the surrounding restaurants.

All the staff we interacted we superb. Polite and helpful (even though some of our party were a bit on the rowdy side - stag party!)

A great stay for a weekend away!

Room tip: All rooms appear to be quiet - no real outside noise apart from sirens from emergency vehicles.
