The location was great. Everything was fairly close. The room was tiny, however, and it felt very cramped. The bed was overly soft, and I mean REALLY soft. There was no aircondition, so it could get really warm.

This was the perfect hotel for location and price as it did the job! It was an anniversary gift for me and we stayed for 3 nights, room only. The room that was chosen was a small one but there are bigger ones available. The small double room suited us well because we didn't need much space and we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. We came back in the evening before heading out again and it was the perfect location to do that because I think if it were further out we wouldn't be able to. We had breakfast out of the hotel both times, which I think we both preferred because we got to taste a little bit of everything and experience different restaurants.
It was a 5 minute walk from the main museums and IAMSTERDAM square, but trams and buses run near the hotel, less then a 10 minute walk which was so handy, we used that a lot especially as we had a iamsterdam card which meant we received free transport. The hotel is right next to vondelpark which is so peaceful we went for a stroll on the first day!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Amsterdam, it is perfect, the staff are polite, helpful and courteous, cannot fault anything.

Room tip: Rooms facing the road are the best.

Really impressed with this hotel, friendly staff really willing to help. Room was clean, tidy and had air con. We were lucky and were able to park outside - but we did take the last space! You do have to pay for parking, which wasn't clear on the website when booking but this is probably a fault of the booking agent rather than the hotel. Great central location. Would go back!

Good clean hotel, small rooms by North American standards but typical in Europe. Great location, can walk to great restaurants and cafes in museum district. Breakfast would have been an extra charge it wasn't included, but otherwise satisfied for the 2days we were there. We're able to get an early check in which was a life saver!

Stayed here for 2 nights, we had a double room, as per other reviews the bathroom was small but how much room do you want whilst on a toilet?! Dam square was 10 mins on trams 2 and 5 so easy access. Room was bright and clean. Overall it was a nice stay
