“no frills value hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

hotel did not have a lot of extras but if you just need a clean room for the night and the hotel is in a good location, this will fit the bill. got a relatively cheap rate for it and wifi worked well.

IVe said this hotel is average as I was disappointed when I came through the door. I understand the buildings are narrow but the breakfast area was squashed In a corner next to reception. When I got to my room it was a tiny box you had to shuffle around the bed. Though some positives were the beds were changed everyday and very comfortable, plus the bathroom was very clean too. Though I didnt get much sleep as the walls are so thin and I had VERY rude and noisy neighbors staying next to us banging on doors and running the corridors at 5am! The location was also brilliant, I'd recommend going to Bourbon street bar which is just around the corner plus lots of restaurants.

trip of my life to Amsterdam .. found Mozart Hotel on the Internet here in South Africa.. booking was a breeze .. good value ..room was perfect..clean ..large enough for our stay in Amsterdam ..Staff were very helpful and friendly. just around the corner from The Rijksmuseum .. the main purpose of my visit ..and was able to meet Family and friends at Leidseplein.
my next visit? Mozart again.

This hotel is in a very good location, there are some great bars up the street and it's close to the shopping, right on the canal. We did manage to get a canal view room for the price of a normal room - after much pressing! Friendly staff, bog standard and basic room, very small and not a double bed, 2 pushed together. But it's warm, you have your own toilet, a good shower and it's a good location. Just don't stay here for a cosy romantic night! It's a bed for the night...that's it! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that!

My friend & I came to Amsterdam to visit Melkweg as my favourite band Venice were playing there. It is a stone's throw from this brilliant concert venue, and the Hotel staff are friendly and very welcoming and helpful. Yes, rooms are small BUT the rooms are immaculately clean and I slept well every night in the very comfortable bed. My friends had travelled for our holiday from Cyprus and was constantly cold when we were out but the Hotel do not skimp on the heating and she was warm as toast inside. Fab location on the canal. For the price, it's a little gem!

Room Tip: Top floor (4th) was nice and quiet as nobody above.

Very basic hotel, but then again, at the price it's worth staying there for the location alone. Very easy to find and close to all important areas. Would opt out of breakfast, it's not worth the money.
