I didn't think it was going to be as good as it was!
Having been to the London Dungeons many years ago I expected just a walk through medieval Amsterdam with a few scary things jumping out to scare us but how wrong was I. From the moment we stepped in the theatrics began. There was a short wait to begin the tour but while waiting we were entertained and made to feel uncomfortable by the 'dead pirate' an actor that doesn't shy from invading personal space or calling you names.
We were lead through scenes of torture, shipwrecks and court cases by actors more than dedicated to their characters, which is what I think made it a fun experience. Each scene and story required a volunteer so be prepared to be plucked out of the crowed. I was unfortunately given the role of poo girl :-(
The end of the tour ends with a short thrilling roller-coaster ride. The whole experience was so much fun. Would definitely visit again!More
