This super small hotel is really cute and run by a very nice couple. It's above a small cafe that is only open at night. The rooms are decent sized with really pretty decor and are all super clean. They provided me with a mini bottle of champagne and some chocolates as a welcome gift and had a mini fridge with free snacks and drinks in it as well.

The location was right in the middle of everything. It was very easy to go anywhere in the city from the hotel.

Room tip: Canal side rooms are bigger but the garden views are absolutely wonderful and a great way to save a little cash.

We spent one night in this hotel with my girlfriend and our friends. The hotel is located in the Red light district just 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam centraal . The hotel is situated close to a big number of restaurants and pubs, but it is not too noisy. The hotel is owned by a friendly married couple. On the ground floor there is a small bar with a cool bartender name Lukas which has a great offer of drinks.
We had a room on the top floor with an amazing view of the canal, the room was big with a comfortable bed, a nice table, a minibar with soft drinks and the staff have left the bottle of wine on arrival. You can have breakfast in the morning by your preference - different kinds of eggs or gluten-free options. I recommend this hotel to all people, but especially to couples visiting the centre of Amsterdam and will for the night life. We were really enjoy that. Overall hotel is of very high standard.

This boutique hotel is exquisite! We stayed in room 3 (The Rembrandt room) which had the most stunning view of the canal, it was a very spacious room and the bathroom amenities were ideal - not too big not too small, just perfect. The breakfasts were a treat each morning and the hospitality was 1st class. The location of the hotel couldnt be better - one street away from the red light district and also only a few meters from a metro station. We would happily go back there again.

Myself and three friends just spent 3 days in Amsterdam and we called misc eatdrinksleep home while we were there. The moment we walked in the door we fell in love with the place. First you are greeted with an eclectic decor which was beautiful and well thought out. The bar and dining areas were cozy and inviting. Next we were greeted by the thoroughly charming and warm owner/host, Rachel. She was so lovely, helpful and fun to talk with. We then met Gabriel who was very nice and carried our bags up to our rooms. The rooms are all decorated differently and very nice and adequate. The bathrooms are small but quite functional with great shower head pressure. Soft warm robes were provided. The rooms are stocked nicely with Nespresso coffee and a mini fridge with complimentary snacks and drinks. We were greeted with a split of Prosecco on the house. Gabriel cooks an amazing breakfast every morning. It was so good. And Rachel's husband was very accommodating in arranging an earlier than normal breakfast one morning as we had to be out very very early for a tour. The Inn is centrally located and we walked everywhere. In the evening the bar/cafe opens and both bartenders/servers we met were great. Very respectful and helpful. Throughout the stay, Rachel was available and gave freely of her time and information. She even arranged to have breakfast foods in our room the morning we left since we were leaving before breakfast started. Gabriel once again helped us with our bags early in the morning when we had to leave for the airport yesterday. The only negative is we had to leave this wonderful place yesterday to come home. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Amsterdam.

This quaint B&B style hotel is in an excellent location for downtown walks etc. The hotel organised a taxi pick up for us ( 50 Euros ) from airport. Charming decor in the bar area. We stayed in the top room facing the canal. The toilet and shower area are very compact. We stayed for 3 nights and sadly were disturbed every night by people making their way home from the bars and clubs. If you don't like noise, ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. UPS: Breakfast and location . DOWNS: Noise and room size.

Room tip: If you like quiet - ask for room at back

Hi Dave, and thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay, despite the city noises. If we get to welcome you back, we'll be sure to help you use the noise machine, which we have in all canal view rooms to drown out some of the noise.
