Welcome as always so warm. We were ten minutes early but were given a glass of Proseco while we waited for the table. Seated right on time and relaxed while we listened to the live Jazz duo and checked out the art exhibition. It's a small place so you are immediately involved with everything going on there. How they manage to fit so many people into the limited space and make you feel as if you're the only guest there is remarkable.
Menu is easy. There are only a few selections and recommendations on offer. The starters Aubergine bake and Chicken livers in Tomato sauce were delicious. We ordered one pasta dish of tuna in tortellini and one pizza Sausage and Funghi. Huge pizza and pasta portions which we tackled willingly. The wine was a Merlot from house suppliers Ruggeri which was light and complimented the main course.
We defaulted on dessert. There was simply no room! The coffees were duppio ristretto and cappuccino with a small liqueur from the house.
The table waiting was superb. The evening was a delight. Please go there if you are in Amsterdam and experience it for yourself!
