“Relaxed setting in a beautiful building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

We met our Dutch cousin here and shared a couple of cakes and drinks. The cakes were delicious, and the drinks well prepared.

Fresh mint tea did what it said on the tin - a cup of boiling water and a generously sprig of mint leaves! Served with a sachet of honey it made me feel better after a few long days of walking around.

The staff seemed largely disinterested, hence they lose a star, but we would happily go here again.

“Open early”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Good thing here is you can have breakfast at 8:00 am. Other than that, it's a standard place like how you find it in museums, concert halls, theaters wherever you travel... modern and light with a sleek interior, but not very surprising. I had a quiche with salmon that was thai style according to the menu... It was tasty but besides the sauce not much thai. The coffee afterwards was very good. All together a lunch for € 15 in an international environment... OK.

Delightful atmosphere and delicious food. We are here twice because the food was so good and the location beautiful. Good service and tasty food. Recommend the hummus sandwich and the apple cake! Would highly recommend any foody to pop in for lunch.

Soak up the atmosphere of this lovely concert hall by having a glass of wine there before a concert.Service is quick and the staff are very friendly.I didn't eat there but the food looked very good.

“Meet the international literati”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

Felt totally at home here.

The same concert cafe crowd as you find all over the world.

Classical music playing in the background. Coffee and good pastries from "The Old Days".

Chandeliers.

It's a great taste of the past done in a good contemporary way.

You could turn up in a ball gown or tails for breakfast and totally merge in. Same with smart jeans and sneakers.

Go.
