Watch out for the false advertising on the room configurations at Trip Site etc. There are 4 rooms that have split level beds...one virtually on the floor that is behind the bathroom door (btw, door should be a pocket door as it takes up 90% of the flooring...) and under the overhanging foot of the elevated bed! Horrible! The second cot is waist high and dangerous for night runs to the bathroom... They will give you a filthy step stool which blocks any remaining chance of the person sleeping on the 'floor' to get to out of their bed! Claustraphobics beware! NO PLACE TO SIT IN THESE ROOMS except the smelly toilet (canal water is used...very Eco friendly though...) to put on socks and shoes etc. No shelves in the bedroom to put glasses, watches, iPhones etc. There is one tiny shelf in the bathroom inconveniently at forehead level! Best to wear you cycling helmet when you wash your face! There is only one outlet to charge iPhones, iPads, laptops and camera batteries etc. (AND NO WiFi!!!) Only hooks (but plentiful) to hang clothes. Cupboards under waist high bed if you are comfortable on your knees
when sorting out your gear... Food and snacks are ample and excellent:) Cycling was fun especially if you like 'Dutch hills' (headwinds:) PS One of the showers doesn't drain due to its physics (not a clogged drain) so remember to bring a little windmill to pump it out the wind...
