I have stayed in countless hotels worldwide, and you usually find some very helpfull individuals working there, but this hotel was unique in that EVERYONE seemed to bend over backwards to be as helpful as possible. This is why I have given the hotel 5 stars, even though there are a couble of small niggles which could be improved.
Location. About as central as you could want. Maybe 150 mtr from the Dam Sq. Easy walk from Central station (Although not with a wheelie case as the cobbled streets play havoc with them). 5 mins from historic 'Red Light District'
Down a side street, so lovely and quiet despite being central.
The room was a good size. Large, very comfortable bed. The 2 rather unusual looking chairs were far more comfortable than they looked. The decor is 'Modern' and a couple of things would have been better if slightly less so. No resting space for toothbrushes etc by the side of the wash basin- pleanty of room underneath, but thats not where I want it. Electric sockets were hidden low down, rather than conveniently located mid wall.
Sepperate shower was excellent. Bath was large, but I did'nt use it.
Restaurant is very good, although not cheap. Breakfast is 'a la carte' I would have prefered a buffet. Wifi works well.
Definitely a place I would repeat.
