“Great Stay in a modern hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Upon arrival at the address I had no problems finding hotel reception as others had. Instructions were clear as were the signs for Amadi Park hotel which is located with a building block.
Reception was friendly offering us to help ourselves to coffee & tea in the lobby anytime we wanted. Also helped look for Indonesian restaurants in the local area & pointed out local attractions on the map. The hotel manager also showed us personally to our room which is a nice touch but can leave other guests waiting around.
Our room was small (typical of Europe) but modern. Wifi was accessible. In the room, a nespresso machine was available and the mini bar containing 2 cans of coke, beer & water was available free of charge.
The location was also good with easy access to the tram & many restaurants & cafes close by.
Would stay here again if I go back to Amsterdam.

Stayed here for a few days while visiting Amsterdam. The hotel is in a very smart, very new building (which it shares with a dentist's office and another hotel, it seems) and the modern look continues throughout the hotel, with very useful free wifi, a nice coffee machine in the room, and a modern wet-room style bathroom. The hotel's location is fairly good; very close to the leafy Vondelpark, about a 10 min walk to the bars and restaurants of Leidseplein, and also close to the Museumplein, where you can visit the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't bother with paying for the extra breakfast, as there are many restaurants very close by (one called StreetKitchen downstairs in the same building serves a great breakfast for slightly less). The rooms were always clean and tidy, with a little balcony to watch people going past. One small issue is that you have to buzz the entry system to be let in. I once came back quite late (about midnight) and tried pressing the buzzer several times to be let in but nobody responded. Eventually got in while somebody was going to another hotel in the same building. However, a small niggle, and would definitely stay here again.

Dear DrunkLove :),
I am so happy to see your kind review. Please don't miss the Stedelijk Museum next time as well. It is just next to the Van Gogh Museum, and they have a rich and well selected modern and contemporary pieces. It is a pity that you had the problem about the entrance. But our room cards open the entrance door as well. You can be sure next time you won't have that problem. Please let's be in touch for the next, so we can compensate this inconvience you had the last time.
Hope to see you soon again.

I am italian, I was there on July where got a 1 night stay with my daughters and it all turned out into a perfect journey.
Reception personnel very kind and helpful, breakfast - as well as minibar - is included in the price: special mention to breakfast where you can have whatever you want (you will find a kind Lady who will serve you unforgettable eggs and pancakes, for example).
Despite of location, we did not find any difficulty to find such Hotel; at the end of the day it is just 10 minutes walking from there to reach Van Gogh Museum, and 20 minutes stroll to get you to downtown.
On behalf of my family, thanks a lot for our stay

I love this hotel!
We only had a chance to stay for one night but it was a wonderful experience. It is extremely stylish from the entrance, to the room (or Junior Suite in our case), and the bathroom!

The entrance is a huge, clear glass sliding door which leads into a huge entrance with a courtyard with abstract sculptures which were really cool. I never actually saw the reception area since the room was set up for me by my significant other upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that we had a balcony when I entered. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, extremely clean, just beautiful. The closet had a large mirror and behind it a (complimentary) mini bar and a safe which were very useful.

I was honestly impressed with the bathroom - all gray marble, impeccably clean, and the water pressure was perfect. The first thing I did after getting out of work was take a shower simply to enjoy this luxury since we were only staying for the one night.

I was informed that the hotel had amazing complimentary coffee, which I unfortunately did not have a chance to enjoy but will keep in mind for next time.

The location is perfect as well. We are definitely going to stay here again!

I stayed here for a short stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is very central, and within walking distance to most tourist attractions, museums and shopping. Tram lines are close by and convenient. Also very easy to get to from the airport. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast and the coffee available was amazing. Fresh and delicious. The only downside was the soundproofing, my upstairs neighbour came in, in the early hours of the morning and you could here her footsteps on the floor for a while.

We stayed for 3 days at the Amadi Park hotel in a junior suite on a room only basis. The hotel is modern with quirky decorated rooms. There is a complimentary mini bar in the room which is topped up daily with beer, coke and water. The hotel reception is situated on the 4th floor and gaining entry to the hotel is a little confusing when you first arrive. The hotel receptionist was friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely, unrushed, laid back atmosphere at this hotel and it is a great base to explore Amsterdam being only a 10 minute walk to the Leidseplein.
The hotel is small and quiet, only 3 rooms on a small sub corridor which made it peaceful and allowed a good nights sleep, in fact I had the best nights sleep whilst I was here. We didn't have breakfast whilst here and to be honest, there are many little cafes close by where you can get breakfast (Bosco over the road from the hotel was particularly good). I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Try Boscos for breakfast and the Palladium in the Leidseplein for dinner...great steaks.

This hotel is very well located near the Museums, within walking distance.

Rooms are nice, clean but I stayed on one that was very small. However, it had a small balcony where you could go outside.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us the reservations for museums, restaurants.

Breakfast was good.

The only negative point during my stay was that they forgot to clean my room one day. Also, the location of the reception on 4th floor is a bit confusing on the beginning because the hotel is on apartment building.
