Rooms are clean, clinical and well done. Nice and modern. Have no complaints. Staff were helpful and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Close enough to everything the city has to offer. Stayed with my partner in the extra small twin single rooms, was perfect for the one night stay. Thank you very much Mosaic Hotel!

Room tip: Coffee machine in our room was not plugged in or near a socket so you might need to move it but was no hassle and was easy to work

Stayed here with my partner for three days.
Great hotel, room was small but cosy and everything works fine.
Cleaners and quick and rooms are great when they are done.

Biggest selling point for us was the lovely and super helpful staff.
Also, it is a one street away from a tram stop, so connects to everything easily.

Also, from the airport, it’s one bus and ride and then a 5-10min walk
Would definitely recommend

After hours of meticulous research on wheelchair accessible hotels in Amsterdam, I booked Hotel Mosaic for my sister, following some discussion with the hotel regarding the bathroom door measurements, as photos of the bathroom on Booking.com and the hotel's own website were not great/unavailable. Upon checking in, whilst the bathroom door was wide enough to (sort of) access, my sister could only just about get her wheelchair into the bathroom. This is where the problems began:

- The shower was completely inaccessible for 90% of wheelchair users. The provided shower chair had no wheels and even if it had, the gap between the wall and the glass screen was too narrow to wheel it through. The shower also has super slippery surfaces and no grab handles, which even if one has some ability to stand in the shower, this would make it very dangerous.

- The height of the sink was way too high to be able to use it from sat in a wheelchair, which made washing (...as a back-up to the shower) and brushing one's teeth, impossible.

- The bathroom was way too small, which meant the toilet was crammed way too near the sink and there was no way a wheelchair user with limited paralysis (or in my sister's case - no paralysis) could transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet. Additionally, there was no grab handles around the toilet.

Overall, after travelling from the UK with medical equipment, suitcases, etc, the room was really disappointing. I appreciate that hotels in capital cities often have pokey rooms, but this bathroom was completely unacceptable to be labelled as a wheelchair accessible room - and this ultimately ruined my sister's trip to Amsterdam as every time she needed to use the toilet, she had to use a disable toilet in a public building/park, etc, as the hotel's bathroom was inaccessible. Additionally, in order for my sister to be able to access the bed (transferring from wheelchair to bed), both twin bed had to be moved all the way into the corner of the room in order for her to be able to get alongside one of the beds in order to be able to transfer to the bed, as the room was so narrow, overall.

What should have been a great trip away for my sister was hampered by the hotel claiming it was something that it is not - wheelchair accessible. The definition 'wheelchair accessible' should not mean that the room can simply be entered by a wheelchair user. The room must be entirely accessible and usable by someone with no paralysis for it to be called so!

the hotel is perfectly located. a short walk from the centre, and lots of lovely restaurants and beautiful park to escape to in the evening. the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. the room was compact but big enough for a short break for 4 people.

Room tip: quiet and well appointed. compact but big enough.
