My favorite Thai restaurant to dine in cause I just love the decor and the food (simple, clean and always cheery).

“Nice Thai restaurant in Amsterdam”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Thai restaurants are quite rare compared to Indonesian ones in Amsterdam. So we were quite pleasantly surprised when we found it. The food was tasty and fresh. The decor was modern with just a hint of Thai-ness. Nlce place tomgo back to.

“Herenstraat Restaurant...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

This Thai unfortunately is in line with Herenstraat experiences - pretty facades, large prices but actually nothing spectacular at the end. The restaurant is one of a number of pretty looking side walk diners, and in line with its neighbors, certainly is very pretty. The prices are - given that this is high end tourist heart land - unsurprisingly high. The food itself was not convincing - the Tom Kha was very sweet and rich in coconut, but lacked any real flavour or spices. The main course, we chose a curry and a special beef salad were tasty but again nothing special. Its safe and sound and the location wins for any romantic minded travelers.

“Kularb Manee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Another fun little sidewalk dining place on a picturesque street in Amsterdam. To top it off, the food is great! Service is very attentive with two very hardworking and helpful young women tending to the tables and interpreting the menu. Try the Tom Yam. It is a light broth with mushroom, scallion and a choice of fish or chicken. The fish was perfectly cooked so that a few tiny slivers could be included in each spoonful of soup. The Squid, fried and served in a spicy curry sauce was delightful. It was not overly spicy ( OK, I am from Texas so I like heat but this was mild.) The delicate slices of calamari had been split and scored in such a way that when they were lightly fried in a wok they curled up and looked like morrell mushrooms. Near the end of the meal a very talented busker violist began playing classical music standing down the street in such a position that diners from all four sidewalk cafes nearby were able to hear and enjoy it.

“Good Thai - excellent, interesting preparations, decor, ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Excellent Thai food in an unexpected place, fairly close to the train station. Had dishes w/tofu that were excellently prepared, sauced, and served w/many flourishes and extra "touches". Decor is very clean and pleasing with a strong, sparse, almost Zennish - Thai aesthetic. Currently smallish and externally-unimposing, but a restaurant that will surprise you.
