Great cafe with a lovely atmosphere and location. Food and coffee were delicious! Almost like being home! Would go back again just try one of their bloody marys

Have lived in Amsterdam for the last 18 months and this place was recommended by a friend. We were looking for somewhere that was good value for money, had great food and fitted into the lazy Sunday morning brunch.
This place ticks all the boxes, I emailed beforehand to see if we needed a reservation and was told it was not needed at the time we wanted to visit. Sunday morning 9.25am, there were a few other people there, took an outside table and began what was one of the best brunches we have ever eaten!
Staff very friendly, very helpful and working really well to ensure everyone is served. It turned busy about 10.30 and it was a steady stream of people from then on, sitting inside (very nice, clean and well designed) and out.
We were a party of 3 and there was so many nice things to pick from on the menu and it all looked amazing! We went with Eggs Hollandaise, Crumpet & Nectarine with bacon and Kedgeree, two of us had Bloody Marys which were also delicious. The standard or the food was fantastic, very tasty, huge portions and great presentation.
We usually try different places each month but will definitely come back here again and again and again....but sshhhhhhh don't tell everyone as we want to keep this a secret!

Holland isn't exactly known for it's good food, or good service, but Little Collins restaurant in De Pjip is one of the exceptions. Possibly the best brunch I've had in Amsterdam and it's great value too. The waiting staff were super friendly and went out of their way to suggest a vegetarian alternative for me and my boyfriend had a meaty special so we were both happy. When our food arrived the portions were huge and delicious. Little Collins also has tables outside, making it the perfect place to sit and people watch on a sunny day. A fantastic little restaurant in a great location. The menu was diverse with some beautiful dishes (the Korean beef tartar, olives and chocolate fondant were standouts) and there was a great choice of wines to match.
Friendly, helpful service with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were welcomed the moment we arrived with a smile at little Collins. After a long day of sight seeing and getting to know Amsterdam we were presented with a terrific menu and outstanding wine list, the list is not extensive but covers a great range of wines from around the world. Food was the highlight. Standouts were the warm olives, oysters. The Korean tartar was a definately highlight, leaving you wanting More, everything was a as described, full of flavor and delicious, don't forget to finish off with dessert. What a great experience, for locals to those traveling from aboard, if you want a amazing atmosphere where you can relax but eat outstanding food, get on your bike and head down to
Little Collins, over near the Heineken museum. Thanks to the team there for a great meal and great service!
