We stayed three nights in this excellent hotel in a quiet location. Although it is outside Amsterdam it is very close to a tram station (route 5), and it only takes 20/25 mins to get to the heart of the city. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, particularly Inge. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean. Good buffet breakfast. There is plenty of local parking although Monday to Friday the cost is 14 Euros per full day, but is free at weekends.
We also hired bikes from the hotel and explored the city usng the locals preferred transport method. It took less than 30 mins to reach many of the main places including the Vondel Park and Van Gogh Museum. This hotel is high recommended if you are looking for value for money, and are prepared to travel for a short time to reach the city centre.

I stayed in this property during an extended weekend trip to Amsterdam and had a very pleasant experience. The best part of the stay was their proximity to the tram and metro while the service and the delicious and inclusive breakfast added to the comfort. There was a shopping centre on the opposite road for quick coffees or supermarket. The service from housekeeping and reception was impressive. I'll surely consider this property on my next stay at Amsterdam .

This hotel is right next to the tram and metro which is very convenient as it is about 20-30min from the city centre. This is the only down side that it is so far from the city centre. The staff are the most helpful I have every experienced and nothing is too much trouble for them. No end of tourist questions bother them.
Shelves in the bathroom and draws in the room would have been a bonus /expected really but minimal available.

I was there for 4 nights. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. hotel is very clean and looks like it was recently renovated. There are 2 direct public transport lines to take you to the city centre. The breakfast is nice - simple and fresh. The only thing I did not like is that the room (sometimes the entire floor ) smells like pipelines or something chemical...i don't know what it was. First floor had no problems (my friends confirmed that ). Overall it was a nice stay.

It's a bit far from centraal. 15 mins on metro but it only comes every 10 mins and stops at 12. So 25 euros for a cab. It's clean and basic. No bar fridge or bathroom things- have to ask for them... Was fine for my stay but would stay in central next time.
