This hotel is one of the "dancing ladies". The hotel is tilted and the tilt can be felt in the room which is pretty unique. It's a great story to be able to tell your friends and family after you stay here. Just remember to walk across the street next to the Amstel and take a picture to be able to tell show them properly. As the canal boats cruise by, they are also all taking pictures of your hotel as the driver states that you can stay in one of the "dancing ladies".

This hotel is in a perfect location. Rembrandtplein and the tram is right in back of it. Shopping is a very short walk away. The hotel is very boutique and original. The staff was excellent and very attentive. For the location, the hotel is extremely quiet which surprised me. There is more noise from other hotel guests than the outside world.

The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit higher than desired but tolerable. The bathroom was very small but functional and clean. When I go back to Amsterdam, I would stay here again.

The hotel is located in the Southern Canal ring, within easy walking distance of the major sights. We arrived before check-in and the staff kindly made us a drink and let us freshen up before we went on our travels. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but quite small for the price, the bathroom especially was tiny. There was no breakfast included which was a downside given the cost.

Room Tip: You need to ask for a canal view

Amazing location central for everything, didn't need a taxi for anything! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! Hotel was clean. Stairs are extremely Steep but expected in a traditional style building! There was some building work at the rear which made it a little noisy but did not at all ruin our visit

Excellent location, stone's throw away from Rembrandtplein which means easy access to shops, pubs, restsurants, canal or just watch people. Very friendly host - apologies for not getting his name.
Only minor qualm was that like other old Dutch buildings, very audible when people walked or talked.
Good comfortable beds with nice shower/wc facilities.
Would definitely recommend to friends.

Had a triple room, the one right behind the reception desk. Room was big to be fair. Beds seemed old, too soft to get a comfortable night sleep, and the pillows were too big and hard, which made it worst. Wifi is really bad, on and off and on and off again, not reaching the whole room (had to actually sit next to the door which leads to the reception a meter away to get a better, not great, wifi connection. Towels the first night were dirty (brownish stains on one, didn't really want to know what it was; and long dark hair on all of them). This was reported and they said they were sorry (front desk attention was nice everytime) and would fix it. Towels didn't come with stains anymore, buy long black hair persisted everytime. About laundry service, which in hotel information says they have, well, they don't its a third party service (had problems with it, though again staff at reception desk saved the day big time).

I rate hotel experience based on cleanliness, a good bed, a good bathroom, service and nowdays, wifi. It failed in bed, cleanliness (bathroom towel experience and found a Pringles can under the bed which was from some previous guest I guess), plus a lowsy wifi connection. Thus, only service was as good as possible within the circumstances, and location was "as expected".-

Noise levels were "as expected" (floorings from the upper rooms and people moving could be heard, and night life around was audible.)

Not worth what I paid. Had better rooms/hoteles in Paris, Barcelona and Brugges with better prices and which exceeded the "bang for the buck" experience.
