I have rated this hotel as average, as the choice is average or very good. I'd say it was good, but not quite 4/5. The checkin process was easy, the hotel easy to find and in a nice quiet location, though only 100m or so from Anne Frank's house. The Jordaan is a nice part of Amsterdam, within striking distance of all the major places you will want to see.
The hotel rooms were very basic though immaculately clean. The breakfast was generous in portion though limited in variety. I'd certainly stay here again.
Only negative was a mysterious price increase on one of the rooms (the price of which had been confirmed when checking in)....which was corrected after being asked to see my confirmation email.
I received a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was well positioned for all the main attractions and public transport.. Breakfast was very leisurely and filling, served in a very pleasant room by courteous and efficient staff. I hope to return one day soon.
the hotel certainly is a good value and a warm welcome.
Politics of information about the price is NOT well shown though, plus a tax of 5% on top of the government taxes is asked for , which is unfair.
The quality of the beds is poor if you stay more tahn 2 nights.
This hotel is well located, being only a short walk from the nearest tram stop. The room was admittedly basic, but if you're going to be spending a lot of time out exploring the city, it's just what is needed.
The breakfast was good, consisting of a selection of breads and toast with various toppings bought over to your table for you.
The staff were all very helpful and spoke good English. They gave good suggestions of tours to go on and things to see.
There is free wifi in the hotel, but don't be expecting anything too speedy.
Overall, fantastic little place. Would stay here again.
