This boat and breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the price is comparable with hotels in town. The hosts are friendly and go out of their way to make your visit a very pleasant one. The boat is located in a nice quiet safe residential area and a 10 minute walk from the tram which zips you into the heart of Amsterdam. There is a cozy sitting area on the deck which you can use to relax and enjoy a drink and soak in the view! Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a boat and breakfast.

One word of caution: there are steep stairs to climb in and out of the boat with narrow steps.

Being on de Dageraad, as 2 Middle aged couples, staying on a boat for the first time this was outstanding. The hosts Sylvia and Theo did realy care for our well being, and guided us to a lot of thinks, so apart from a flawless boat, with all (and even more) what you need, the personal touch from Sylvia and Theo made the stay Outstanding. Here price and quality goes to the side of qualty. best wishes from the Danes. Hope you are free when we decide to come back to A'dam :-)

We tried this "Boat & Breakfast" even though we had no recommendations online (or offline!), and such luck! The boat is recently renovated to a very elegant and high standard with two spacy rooms and a kitchen area. We got a warm and welcoming arrival with pick-up at the train station and a intro tour on the barge. The breakfast is served in the kitchen when you wake up in the morning, and the bicycles ready to take you anywhere you want to go in Amsterdam. All four travellers highly recommend this B&B, if for a long stay or only for a weekend. Nothing to withdraw on this one, enjoy!
