Great hotel close to the centre of Amsterdam by the museum. Great service, attention to detail and cleanliness was good. Would recommend this hotel. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The staff were polite and friendly.

Ok:
- very friendly girl at reception
- location, 15min walk to actual city center, 5min to walk to metro station, 1min to hermitage, 5min to IceBar, 1 min to main bridge
- kitchen on first fl.
Negative:
- No elevator!!!
- that was the most tiny room I ever stay
- overpriced

That place is ok to stay if You are 17-25. Enjoy Amsterdam!!

Room Tip: take any if you have no luggage, take closest to entrance if You have any heavy bag. Enjoy Amsterdam...

Location - Okay so is a bit tricky to find at first and when night time after arriving however once found you will never get lost again. Great location near the kissing bridge and Rembrandt Square. Excellent area around you with everything on your door step. (15 min walk to station)

Staff - Very friendly and helpful, warm and welcoming.

Hotel - Lovely building in a quiet location, gorgeous views, we overlooked the Hermitage, amazing!
The room was nice and done out to a high class however V.V.V small. We stayed in a double room but it should only be suitable for a single, it was really too small. However - we hardly stayed in so perfect. Bathroom and shower very good but again V small, I cut my arm on the shower rail trying to dry myself.

Would I stay here again - 100% Room 203 - No!

*Beware stairs are very steep but I loved it, great feature to the hotel, maybe not so good after 6 Amstel! :)

Thanks Again

Room Tip: Size, floor 1 if you have heavy luggage, overlooking Hermitage is amazing

Horror hotel ,dirty, smelling humidity, expensive.I recommend don,t go to this hotel, better spend the night in the street. Is very close from downtown bad too bad and the staff is not kind.

This really was a lovely hotel, very clean and very well furbished. The bathrooms could be slightly on the 'too jazzy' side, but it's still all really nice decor. The bedrooms were again really clean and the maids did a brilliant job. The staff were also really friendly and helpful and free coffee, tea etc. round the clock. Got told the breakfast was really nice too, however I was never up early enough for it...oops... highly recommend this hotel, just 10 minutes (at the most) walk from the main amsterdam square and 20 minutes walk (at the most) from amsterdam central train station.

It has tram stops right near it which are really easy to work out as they pretty much go in a circle around the city....and you can also get away without paying.

Friendly warm welcome when we first arrived at the hotel, we arrived really early in the morning so they said we could leave the bags at the front desk and return to the hotel at 1:00pm when our rooms were ready (Baring in mind normal check-in is around 15:00).

We went out exploring Amsterdam and returned to the hotel. Unfortunately I would advise that if you are disabled or of elderly age, then you may wish to ask the hotel prior to your visit, if you can have a room on the first or second floor, as those steps are tiring especially when you have your bags! - It never bothered us, as we are all quite young.

Everything else with the rooms/hotel was beyond our expectations! The room was very clean, spacious (Considering it was a small-twin room), and pleasant. Bathrooms were on the small side, however this was highlighted on our booking. I am 6ft 2" and I still managed to shower and get ready with ease.

The hotel location was excellent, about a 20minute walk from the central station, right next door to the Van Gogh Museum. Located just enough out the way so you can get a very pleasant nights sleep.

All in all I would give this hotel a 9 out of 10, simply because you got the feeling everything was tailored to suit you. I would 100% reccomend this hotel, and I would most certainly be staying again in the very near future. Bargain of a price, great location and excellent service, what more could you want?

Room Tip: If you are elderly, or disabled, I would definately reccomend asking for a room on the 1st or 2nd fl...
