History of Holland during the Nazi occupation told in personalized stories as well as general outlines. Describes the difficult choices of flight, hiding, collaboration, resistance, or doing nothing faced by individuals. Special attention to the plight of Jews and the Holocaust in the country. Also a special area for current school kids to better understand what happened. Finally, there's even a section about the Japanese conquest of the Dutch East Indies and how Indonesia finally achieved independence in 1949. Well written signage in Dutch and English make this a memorable visit.
