It was an interesting couple of hours, but it really concentrated on people's experiences in the occupation and not the role of the Dutch Resistance, sabotage, etc.

We'd heard so much about this museum and after our visits to the Oorlogs Museum in Arnhem and Airborne Museum Hartenstein`in Oosterbbek we were really looking forward to it. We all like to grade the museums and this one scored a 4/10 compared to the 10/10 of the two previously mentioned. Our boys (9&10) could not really get interested in this one. Seems geared more for native adults. If you have a busy schedule and limited time I'd suggest skipping this museum in favor of the Rijksmuseum or Scheepvaart Museum (Maritime).

We really enjoyed this museum. Second visit to the city in two years and the tram trip got us to a different part of town as well. GREAT exhibits, but also different ways of telling about the time period from different perspectives in very personal ways. Learned and continued on through the exhibit out of curiosity. There is a good place to eat nearby , Cafe Koojse, about 2 blocks to your right as you face the museum. It sits on the corner of Plantage Middenlaan #37, and Plantage Kerklaan. All are close to the tram stop. We are senior couple but the restaurant and museum would be good for families as well.

This museum is quite small, yet contains approx. 2 hours of viewing. Very well set out. A bit boring for children (although a specific children one is currently being constructed). Great attraction *****

Great, small museum about the Dutch resistance movement during WWii. A ton of information. Very interesting to learn about WWII from this perspective. It's not really geared for kids, but my 1 year old and 2 year old were happy just pushing buttons. Allow 1-2 hours. Right next to the zoo, but a good walk from the central area of Amsterdam.
