While many hostels are now introducing mixed dormitory rooms, this one is luckily only for females. The hostel is in an office building, but is open all night. It is about 5 min walk from the Bijlmer Metro station in South Amsterdam, a multicultural, residential area very different from the typical tourist-flooded centre, so I think this place is perhaps for someone who is not on his/her first trip to Amsterdam. There a a few double rooms and dormitories available with nice decoration. You can make your own meals or have a tea in the common kitchen; there is also a lounge. Forgot your winter coat? There is an wardrobe where you can swap clothes. Hostelle feels a bit like a student home with shared facilities, but it has more atmosphere than traditional hostels.
