Set amid bars, coffee shops, and sex workers, (which is true of most of the city center) this place was truly an oasis of calm and comfort. We had the canal view but, despite heavy foot traffic, it was quiet. ( it was December, so windows shut) It is above a restaurant, but we never heard or smelled a thing. Great firm mattress, we slept well
Breakfast comes in a basket to your door so you have privacy, yet if you need anything, even advice, David is most helpful. Room has a fridge- handy. My only tiny complaint is- no place to set stuff in the bathroom, but it was a minor inconvenience. Would happily stay again. Beautiful rooms, terrific host.
