My son booked the hotel for me and he frequently has to travel to Amsterdam and said he had been to a party in Hotel Arena and it was really nice. I had images conjured of not being able to sleep and drunken customers at night! This could not be further from the truth. The rooms are luxurious, the bathroom was more than ample and the bed was huge, one of the best nights sleep I have ever had. I would definitely return to the hotel due to the ideal location and reccomend it to anyone!

Going for three nights to Amsterdam with the boyfriend we were worried about some comments about the hotel, however the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were quirky and above all CLEAN and the hotel itself was lovely and the staff extremely friendly.

I was worried about how far out the hotel was going to be, however with the metro a 5 minute walk and a tram stop a two minute, we found it no problem AT ALL getting around and was in Dam square within 10 minutes. Trust me, we saw some hotels right in the middle of the Red Light District and counted our lucky stars that we were fortunate enough to get a hotel a little further out from all the shenanigans.

If I had to give it any negative comments, it would be the shower floor, as it's a sort of wet room the bathroom did get ridiculously slippery, however that's the only negativity I could give, and a small one at that, that didn't affect us at all.

Things to know about the hotel that we didn't: on getting there we had to pay a 100 euro deposit for the 3 nights we were there on our card in case we used any of their mini bar or entertainment facilities. But you get it back at the end if you haven't used anything. But make sure you have enough money with you extra for that - the more nights you stay, the more deposit you have to pay.

The location is ok, by walk it's even quite far to the cousy squares, like Rembrandtplein en de Dam.

The rooms are very neath and spacious. Even the bed is big enough for tall people. I am almost 2 meters tall and I could sleep very comfortable...

But the bathroom is the most negative point. The things in the bathrooms are really nice and all. But the see trough glass walls are invading your privacy when you have to go to the toilet. Even for a couple is it quite uncomfortable...

But if you accept that negative point, it's a reaaly good value for money hotel.

We had a really pleasant stay!!! We will come again.

Excellent price Vs. quality
Location could be improved, altough there are trams 9 and 14 5 minutes far walking, and a metro station at about 8-9.
Modern style
