“Albino wallaby!”

I was amazed to see an albino wallaby in this park while strolling through it one evening. There were another 2 normal wallabies and llamas. However, I went in the afternoon on another day, I couldn't see the albino wallaby which may have been sleeping in one of the sheds. There is a nice lake and lots of ducks hanging around it. They looked like they were taking a nap. While sitting near the lake I noticed that you can see a plane flying over this park every 5 mins. Kids would love this park.

Smashing little park to stroll through. Nicely kept grounds, loads of wildlife such as storks, a little zoo with Lammas? (or something) and Kangaroos? (or something) walking about in an enclosure.

Nice Japanese garden also within it. And a lovely lake with an art installation thing which was intriguing to watch - kind of ropes and sails blowing about. There's also an artist studio in the park with a tea room inside.

We had coffee at an open air cafe beside the lake in the centre. Very nice, but not to be confused with the formal restaurant at the main park entrance on Europaboulevard.

Well worth a visit.

The park has its own internal themes and visiting in may I also got glimpse of full blown glory of flower collection around the place. It also has a mini golf along with beautiful plant works all around. While in the area, it is a great way to relax and enjoy. The sights around the park are amazing.

This park is different from the other Amsterdam parks: no bikes allowed and usually few visitors.
There are different "themed" areas from when this was a horticultural show.
The dutch native flora in the naturalistic central area contrasts the exotic rhododendron valley, japanese gardens, subtropical conservatory-plants,floral bedding, rose garden and pinetum.
