I have been here twice... the first time it was quiet and peaceful, this time it was overrun with parties of tourists and seemed more noisy than the street outside...
The Catholic Church is the same commercial operation as others in the city, offering graven images as you would expect, along with the standard Rijks- and van Gogh museum merchandise. Oddly, the Protestant church opposite is less commercial.
It is well worth a visit... but on a quiet day!
