That's it in a nutshell , 10 mins walk from the main train station and just an exhibit , €5 entry , you can't expect much more , interesting literature in english with each exhibit , do it at your own pace .

Like others say, this shouldn't take more than an hour to get round. Its interesting, and I thought it was quite reasonably priced. I'd recommend if its raining outside!

We came here at our nine-year-old request and used a couple of silver tulip tickets from our Holland Passes - we used the discount card for our son. We found it quite interesting and our son really enjoyed it.
I had thought it might be a bit more London Dungeon like, with interaction etc, but it is basically exhibits with written text explanations and pictures. There is nothing scary here as such, but this is not for the sensitive as the descriptions are fairly graphic and will make you clench!
We spent a fairly enjoyable hour here but we did read everything and left in wonder at how truly horrible we are capable of being to our fellow man. I was appalled to see the method of execution still in use in Spain until as late as the 70's - epsecially as its final victim turned out to be innocent!
I wouldn't pay full price for this but was happy to use up a couple of our tickets on it. It depends if you...or your children find this kind of thing fascinating!

We had a fun time. The museum is interesting and well-documented. If you are in the area, it can certainly be worth the visit.
