If you want to go to learn about Heineken's brewing process, don't even bother. You won't learn much during this experience, especially about the process of brewing. This is more a collection of fancy (but slightly underwhelming) activities lined up one after the other, which would be more interesting to tourists who are looking for a reason to post something on social media. You'll learn a bit about Heineken's history, but that's about it. Having said that, its not bad purely as an experience.

Stayed in Amsterdam for my boyfriends 30th and this was one of the excursions i booked. I booked this will another excursion and you had to pick up your tickets from The Tour shop in central Amsterdam. This was easy to get to and then you can also buy a tram ticket, number 24 literally directly outside the Heineken experience. Dont worry if you dont know the names of places i didnt either but you cant miss the signs approaching!! We were early and had actually booked the 12.30pm time slot but went in at 11.40am! Staff were polite and knowledgable - everyone we spoke to genuinely wants to work there. On entry youre given a wristband (that you get to keep) and x2 tokens for the bar. There is a short talk to begin with about Heineken and the tour that you take by yourselves and this gave some interesting facts about the beer itself. You continue the tour and see all sorts about the process of making the beer, you see the old tanks they used to use, the history of the company and they also have their horses on show. You cannot stroke them but you can see them. Lots of stairs here! There is so many interactive things to do at this experience and they really are in keeping with the times, lots of ipads to use things to turn twist and play with! Its beer which is synonymous with football so a large part of the experience is about football, lol. Selfie stations will cool backgrounds and stuff to look at/do. Theres even the chance to pull the perfect pint (a game) and customise a bottle of Heineken for the small price of 6 euro 50. And last but not least the Heineken bar where you can exchange your tokens for FREE beer! We had a brilliant time - must see if in Amsterdam!

This experience was more for my Husband as I don't drink Beer, but I wanted to go along for the unexpected experience anyway, we both enjoyed the whole tour and I had my first beer which was not as bad as I thought. This was not like a brewery tour but more like a fun type experience for people that drink Heineken. I enjoyed this experience very much but will stick to my glass of wine, my husband enjoyed the beer and the experience.

A fun visit on a Saturday afternoon.. really good if you like Heineken as you can beer included in the ticket. Was interesting to see how it's made and was founded. Been there done that kind of thing probably wouldn't go back again but glad I've experienced it once.

The visit was on our last day in Amsterdam - it was a nice way to end the trip.

We had pre-booked our tickets so were able to jump ahead of the queue, which was not too long.

There is a nice blend of historic information following on to a modern experience with a lot of fun, interactive parts.

You can have up to 3 half pints through out the tour. If you are not an alcohol drinker then you can have juice or alcohol-free beer.

There are plenty of facilities and a gift shop at the end.

The Heineken Experience is what you make it, and we made it super fun. It’s a fun learning activity, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating.

The tour was excellent. We have highly recommended the Heineken experience to our friends, family & followers. The facilities, staff, atmosphere and layout/route were spot on.

The horse stables was a pleasant surprise halfway through the tour.

Pouring the perfect pint tutorial & competition was a superb touch.

The gift shop for souvenirs was actually really good. Well stocked, presented and the Heineken accessories & memorabilia themselves were very desireable.
