We stayed in this hotel for our trip to Amsterdam, and we loved it! The neighborhood is great...away from the "touristy" area in Amsterdam with plenty of restaurants and close to the Anne Frank House. Not a difficult walk to other hotspots in Amsterdam. The rooms were CLEAN, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was sufficient. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: We didn't have a canal view room, but I think this made it quiter since we were away from the st...

Having just stayed at the Weichmann, what can I say? Excellent location, good breakfast, frendly helpful staff and Taz to greet us. Our stay was an absolute delight and we will stay again on our next visit to Amsterdam. Be sure to visit Pompadou for the best apple Dutch cake ( as recommended by a local ) - the hotel will give you directions and it's very close.

Our room overlooked the canal which was fantastic, very quite and peaceful - well done The Weichmann, we will certainly recommend you to family and friends.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Great location, especially as Amsterdam is a lot smaller than it seems, we walked everywhere from here with ease.

Old fashioned hotel in a very convennient location within walking distance of the city centre and art galleries. Very, very quiet in our bedroom with an immaculate ensuite bathroom. Furniture old but beds very comfortable. Service at reception friendly and efficient - we asked to borrow a hair dryer and it appeared within a minute. Adequate continental buffet style breakfast in a sunny room overlooking the canal with an excellent view of Amsterdam's cycling culture in action.

We stayed here end of March in the family room, a nice large room with a great view of the canal and bridge both from the room and the huge bathroom, lots of light! Since the room was on the street, there were street noises, but that's to be expected. Great location for walking, and people watching. Grocery store close by, as were lots of places to eat. Staff was very helpful not only assisting with our stay, but they were more than helpful in FedEx-ing a cell phone left behind, back to the States. A little noisy on the street side, but the view and the staff to make for a great stay, and more than made up for any street noise.

Room Tip: We also staying on the inside rooms, quieter but without the great views.
