Travelling on motorbikes and hearing about many bike thefts in Amsterdam, finding a hotel with secure parking was paramount for us. We were delighted to find two storey underground locked carpark which was very difficult to get out off, even as paying guests! The hotel and rooms were very clean, breakfast was good and plentiful and service was great. Bedrooms could have done with a bit more storage and shelving.
Reception staff, although very helpful, could not find our booking which was a bit of a worry but rooms were availalbe and the price was honoured (after a minor stand-off).

I only stayed one night, on my way from Brussels. Location is more than good, next to a big station from which you can take frequent train service to Amsterdam's Central Station (5 mins ride) or even to Schiphol Airport (10 mins ride). The hotel is new, rooms are large for European and Amsterdam standards, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good, with fresh food and enough varieties. Generally, this could be a great option for tourists and business travellers, namely because of its train connection and frequent services to city centre/ airport. Staff was efficient and polite, I really have nothing negative to say. Finally, this appears to be an excellent value for money hotel for Amsterdam and, Western Europe, generally...

The duvet cover was very hot for spring and all 4 pillows were very big and I got a pain in the neck. In the Service Book provided, they offer blankets and feather pillow. When I asked for them, in the front desk told me they didn't have such articles. I wrote a claim in the email provided in the book but all I got was 'you will receive an answer in the next 14 days'. For me it's a joke. They should improve the communication channel with the General Management. I am still waiting for an answer.

I stayed here in mid-February with a friend and found it to be an excellent value at 15,000 Priority Club points per night (or just 13,500 per night if you have the Priority Club Visa card!). The staff was friendly and helpful and they maintained the breakfast area very well. Additionally, the bar is nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. I found the rooms to be brand new and wonderful -- especially the bathroom. Great shower and great water pressure. I was also glad they had such a variety of TV channels -- including channels in English. The coffee and tea in the room was also a nice touch.

The only negative about this property was the lack of iron and ironing board in each room. They apparently only have one for the entire hotel. This caused some problems for us, as we had just arrived off a flight from Dallas and needed ironed clothing ASAP for a dinner we were attending.

I've seen some reviews about the location being poor but I found it to be excellent. It's literally just a 4-5 minute train ride into the Central Train Station which is the stop you want for all of the main Amsterdam attractions. Between all the various means of public transportation, you can get to the city centre in about 10 minutes or less. No biggie at all.

Overall, a great spot and will definitely stay again when visiting Amsterdam!

Room Tip: All the rooms are fairly quiet due to the hotel being in a quiet area.

The Hotel is nearly new, so the rooms are in good order, and the decoration is good, especially the bathroom. The Continental Breakfast was good, with everything you needed. But the best thing about this hotel was it's transport links, we landed at Schipol Airport, collected our bags, walked through customs, and straight into the railway station, where we caught a train directly to this hotel, 10 minutes a couple of stops, and just under 4 euros, the distance from the station to the hotel 100 yards. That was the last time we used the main line train service, as we then purchased a 4 day GVB ticket, for 20.50 euros a head, and used the 48 bus frequently for the 10 minute bus ride to Central Station, from there you can walk around the City Centre, or use your GVB ticket on the Trams, or the Ferry, or the Metro.
Within 100 yards of the Hotel as well as having the Railway Station, and the Bus Station, you
also have the Metro. On our return journey to Schipol Airport we caught the 69 bus from outside the hotel, 40 minutes later it drops you off outside the Airport Terminal. The buses run about every 15 minutes from outside the hotel, to all corners of Amsterdam.
