stayed here a few weeks back, hotel very easy to find from station, straight down Damrak go round side of Royal Palace take road directly behind Royal Palace and keep walking on left hand side of street until you find a row of shops with hotels above them and Nadia is right at end of the block with a sign showing you what door it is
The hotel itself was nice as others have said the stairs are very steep but they do come and carry your luggage up and downstairs for you when you arrive and leave
Check in was ok the guy spent more time on his phone rather than chatting to us which we felt was a bit ignorant but the staff are pleasant enough if you need to know something.
The room was small but again our luggage taken up another flight of stairs or two
nice to get a welcome drink tho even tho its only soft drinks
Breakfast was very basic but fresh and edible coffee and orange juice were lovely
hotel is in great location with everything in walking distance that we wanted to do but there is a tram stop about 50 yards away if you need to travel further
would go back here is went back to Amsterdam

For what you pay this is a really good hotel, which includes breakfast (crossiants, fresh bread, cakes etc). The stairs are steep but we really liked the quirky decor, friendly staff and perfectly clean rooms, it was everything we needed for a place to stay. As a base it's perfect, over the road from Westerkirk church, and a short hop on a tram makes it easy to get to from the centraal station. There are some lovely restaurants and places to eat in close proximity without going to the tourist trap in the streets around Dam Square. If all you want is a clean hotel, in a great location for exploring without spending a fortune then look no further.

Pros - location, friendly staff, helpful reception, good wifi, maps supplied on arrival
Cons - duvet cover well worn with small holes, towels well worn, breakfast room very small (had trouble getting a seat) with selection of cake, Nutella, crossiants (and jam), bread (no toaster) and cheese. On arrival (at around 10am) was asked to wait in the breakfast room and we would be told when we could check in, along with around 5 other parties we had to wait about an hour. As annoying as the wait was (mainly because we weren't told how long it would be) we did appreciate the early check in

went for the single room, which is seriously small! However, it is rather vertically designed, so you actually have sufficient surface space. As most people will know, Amsterdam is very expensive, so this place represents great value for money. The location is perfect (no need for taxis from the station). Nice breakfast room. For this kind of money, you really cant go wrong! But bring ear plugs - the local church bells start ringing at around 3am and keep going every half hour!

Stayed in the Nadia with my wife and children for a long weekend at the beginning of January (4th to 7th). A really great holiday, made better by this excellent hotel. Not five star, but warm, friendly, clean and a wonderful central location. We had the family room, with plenty of room for the four of us and fantastic views over the adjacent canal. The Christmas decorations were still in place when we were there, and this added to the warm atmosphere, especially in the breakfast room. The stairs from the street are very steep, which might prove to be a problem for older guests, but we would certainly recommend the Nadia and hope that we can return one day. Well done to all the staff, who were, without exception, friendly, polite and helpful.

Room Tip: Go for the family room. Plenty of space for two adults and teenage children. Corner location gives l...

My wife and I stay for two nights and the hotel was amazing. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk from central station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank House. Hotel Nadia offers safety for it's guests with video entry system and 24 hour reception. You have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and Television, the rooms are warm and cosy with piping hot showers on demand and free wi-fi. We will come back again 100% Congratulations for Nadia Hotel.
