We stayed overnight here last weekend and had a great stay. The building is brand new, modern and pretty hip. Nice rooms, excellent quality bed and shower. Easy accessible by car, need to take a bike or tram into the city centre. Good price for this time of year in the city.

This is the new Casa 400 in Amsterdam.
Casa 400 is a Amsterdam landmark, but the new one....No, it's just to noisy on the rooms....You can here everything from outsite and inside.

This is your basic budget hotel with some nice little flourishes, but as another reviewer has noted there is a lot of construction and this is not good. One day there was a path to the front door, the next day it had been removed and was replaced with a board over some sand. This hotel used to be located a few blocks away so cab drivers can get quite confused when looking for the hotel. Also, if you stay here expect a 15 minute walk to the nearest tram or, if you follow the Amstel River you can walk from downtown in about 30-35 minutes. Not a great location, but the rooms are clean and a good size considering the price.

Brand new hotel which I'm sure will be really lovely once they have finished the exterior which is currently sand, barriers and construction vehicles. Definitely not suitable for young children or disabled people.

Entrance is at the back so you have to walk right through the building site to enter.

Very disappointing.

I arrived at the hotel, but the signs were misleading, it is hard to find, as the signs sendyou to the old hotel. The new hotel is still being completed, and the pavement/ roads are still sand.
Inside isa modern clean hotel - but this is to be expected for a new hotel.
The room is comfortable, the bed is huge, the bathroom is fine. The price, was reasonable, and the location is conveniently nr amstel station.
The shortcomings: It is very minimalistic - even basic tissues are not provided in the room - wheres they are standard in say, Holiday Inn. The heating doesnt work, so the room can get cold. The breakfast is really lousy, and virtually a beggars affair. If u like bacon and cheese, then thats all there is. If u dont want that, u have tohave fruti juice and some bread rolls, and hope they have a few spare croissants. I have had betterbreakfasts in youth hostels.
On the plus side, there is free internetconnection, and they have a kettle andtea/coffeee in the room.
But , for Amsterdam, it is a good price for a good night's sleep, and is very quiet too.

The hotel was a very good value for money. It was 5 min walk from the Amstel station which has connections to all the places. Amsterdam city center is about 15-20 mins by Tram.Schipol is around 20 mins by train. The hotel has been recently redecorated and was very clean. The room was spacious and had all the basic facilities. The food at the restaurant was very good though a bit expensive. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. They provided us with all the information about the city , maps and directions. We would definitely go there again if we visit Amsterdam again.

This is a tourist hotel just out of the downtown area in Amsterdam. There is a metro station right across the highway from the hotel, just be sure to take the tunnel under the highway so you don't get reprimanded by the scooter police :) It was clean and functional. I went as part of a tour group. I would stay there again. Breakfast was included as part of our stay.
