The hotel is a little out of the centre, but only 10 mins walk from the metro, 15 mins walk from Rembrandsplein and 5 mins (€8) by taxi from Central station.

The hotel is built to an Ibis formula. Rooms are OK and actually large from Amsterdam (you don't have to stand on the bed to get clothes out of the wardrobe).

Being off the main routes, the hotel is fairly quiet.

Breakfast is OK, with a hot and cold buffet (limited choice).

Bar is good, but has a nasty habit of closing early when the staff feel like it.

Price is reasonable for Amsterdam, but inflated when there are large conventions at the RAI.

I have stayed there 3 times now and the quality is consistent.

If you are happy with Ibis hotels, this one is OK.

Room Tip: All the rooms seem identical

Good breakfast. 5 minutes from Metro station (Waterlooplein). 600 meters from Niewmarkt and 800 meter from Dam Square. Some supermarket open till 22 beahind the corner (200 meters) in mestro station direction,

Nice room, small but typical of European Hotels. Within 5 min. walk of tram stop. Front desk staff consistently multilingual and very nice. Breakfast buffet excellent but pricey @ 16 Euros. Nice bar and restaurant w/outdoor seating which catches the morning sun - grat for breakfast

The room was basic (no tea/coffee, no iron-there was a charge for this) but clean, of a good size and the bed was very comfortable.
We had a nice view of the canal which we requested without any extra charge. Location was good- easy walking distance to Central Station and sights.
Our reservation didn't include breakfast, however we found a very nice cafe nearby which sold bagels and muffins. Just one small thing- there are vending machines that sell fizzy drinks and beer, but no water. A large bottle of water from the bar cost 6 euros!- luckily there's a supermarket 5mins walk away and we got a bottle of the same size for 45 cents. Despite the few little niggles it was perfect and we got a fairly good deal- I would recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a week this August.

Great hotel with very attentive staff, the room and breakfast were also of a very high standard.
Bike hire available at the hotel which is handy as well as 24hr service.
Will be back next year again.

Very clean Hotel.

The bar also serves a mean pint of Heineken extra cold!

Close enough to central Amsterdam (10 min walk)
