I was happy with my stay there. We stayed for a couple of nights. Reasonable hotel for the price, which also had the option to include buffet breakfast for a little bit extra. Room wasn't big,, but it was big enough for two people to stay in (we were only in the room to sleep). It was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and supportive, I actually had a very decent night sleep there. Windows block out all the noise.

In regards to the noise though, we stayed on the city side, not the railway side. We specifically asked at check in for them to give us a room on the quuieter side. The train side has the trains literally under your window. I can't comment how loud or quiet it is there, I haven't experienced it. City side was super quiet though!

Location is quite good and central. Right on the railway line so 2 minute stroll to the train. Airport train leaves every 15 minutes. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the centre, just need to go over the footbridge. Canal ferries stop is very close too.

Breakfast was good. Nothing super special, just your average hotel fry up breakfast. There was a large amount of choice there too, even different types of cheese and ham.

One negative I have is that the bathrooms were small. Nothng major, but the thing that annoyed me was the shower setup, the mixer tap stuck out almost half a meter away from the wall, right under the shower head. I've lost count how many times I nudged it to super-hot or super-cold or off position by accident when moving about in the shower. Eventually I extended the shower head.so that it happened less.

Staff were all very friendly. Overall, it was a very good hotel to stay in, if you're only after a place to sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms on the railway side have trains right underneath them. Ask for city side at check in.

Hotel is right by the Central station so I came straight off the train and in 5 minutes I was in my hotel room and booked in. Free wifi which was a bonus and also the rooms were really spacious. It has everything standard which you expect like toiletries and if anything is missing just request it. The location too is by all the popular places but there is a massive tram station outside so 1 minute walk you can just jump onto the tram and go. The price was average but I booked well in advance so watch out as it can sting your wallet and pay over the odds. The all you can eat buffet was up to par and very filling. If you want evening meals you can order and take back to your room.

I highly recommend as it is well located and clean. Staff were also very friendly. I had a very nice staying. The rooms were cleaned and the location makes your staying more enjoyable. You'll be only few steps from trams-trains and buses. Actually you are two blocks from city centre. Highly recommend it!!

Great service. Clean and convenient. No frills. No complaints.
Try getting rooms over looking the waterfront towards the rear of the hotel.
Only crib is that the rooms were bit small.
Amazingly helpful staff esp at the front desk.

We stayed here in late October just prior to a river cruise. The hotel is at the west end of the central train station in Amsterdam and the river cruise dock was at the east end of the central train station, so we couldn't ask for a more convenient location. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and everything worked. We opted for the breakfast plan and the food was very good. We will stay here again our next time in Amsterdam.

The hotel is at a fantastic location, just next to the Amsterdam central Station and also the trams and public transport is very acsessable.
The rooms and washrooms are just too small and very uncomfortable. Virtually no facilities in the room which is a real turn off.
Also the charges of the rooms were much to high and are not good value for money.
Would not reccomend for budget travellers...

Room Tip: GOod for Budget travellers but beware, the rooms are just too small and uncomfortable

We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights. Our room was on the 7th floor and very quiet. The bed we had was a king size and extremely comfortable. Very pleasant staff and Mandy, the lady who checked us in,gave us a great explanation on where to go and what to do. The location is right alongside the central railway station and is also handy to the trams and canal boats. The hotel has a very extensive breakfast menu. I cannot understand some of the negative comments about this hotel as our experience was very pleasant and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 7th floor, very quiet.
