I was happy with my stay there. We stayed for a couple of nights. Reasonable hotel for the price, which also had the option to include buffet breakfast for a little bit extra. Room wasn't big,, but it was big enough for two people to stay in (we were only in the room to sleep). It was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and supportive, I actually had a very decent night sleep there. Windows block out all the noise.
In regards to the noise though, we stayed on the city side, not the railway side. We specifically asked at check in for them to give us a room on the quuieter side. The train side has the trains literally under your window. I can't comment how loud or quiet it is there, I haven't experienced it. City side was super quiet though!
Location is quite good and central. Right on the railway line so 2 minute stroll to the train. Airport train leaves every 15 minutes. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the centre, just need to go over the footbridge. Canal ferries stop is very close too.
Breakfast was good. Nothing super special, just your average hotel fry up breakfast. There was a large amount of choice there too, even different types of cheese and ham.
One negative I have is that the bathrooms were small. Nothng major, but the thing that annoyed me was the shower setup, the mixer tap stuck out almost half a meter away from the wall, right under the shower head. I've lost count how many times I nudged it to super-hot or super-cold or off position by accident when moving about in the shower. Eventually I extended the shower head.so that it happened less.
Staff were all very friendly. Overall, it was a very good hotel to stay in, if you're only after a place to sleep.
