“Decent central hotel.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2011

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and found it to be a good choice at the budget end of the market. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable enough. They did only provide one square-shaped pillow each, but we didn't find this to be an issue. The bathroom was also very small, and the shower could maybe have been more powerful, but other than that had everything we needed - including hairdryer. Generally we didn't find noise to be a problem, except for the air-conditioning coming on randomly a couple of times early in the morning. Our room overlooked the train station but we had no problems with noise from the trains - maybe because we were up on the seventh floor.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel and didn't have much contact with staff, but the receptionists were friendly enough. They accommodated our request for a late checkout - but they do charge 10 euros for every extra hour.

The location of this hotel is ideal - right next to Centraal Station, and very easy to find. It's not luxurious - but in a city with so much poor budget accommodation you could do a lot worse - and we would definitely return.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a business visit to Amsterdam. The staff are nice and helpful, and the rooms are nice. The bathroom was maybe a bit tiny, and the pressure in the shower weak, but okay.

As is it situated right next to the train station, it is hard to have the window open as you will be awakened by the trains. But this also means you are ideally situated for public transport.

The breakfast was very good, and the in-house restaurant was okay given the price.

Would easily stay at this hotel again.

Very good location , easy to find as it actually joined onto the station , unfortunately was given a room on the train track side which is noisy so ear plugs are recommended if your a light sleeper but better still ask for a room facing the canal , Dam is an expensive place so make use of the all you can eat breakfast which is fantastic :) all in all a good clean and friendly hotel to use as a base to explore the city .

small room with no bath but clean. great views from window, right next to station so easy to find and get around the city. didn't pay for the internet just got the free access that was to be used in the lobby and too it to my room for an hour. Expensive for the room and at £150 a night they could have provided tea and coffee and free wifi

The hotel is located literally next to the Centraal Station, and is just minutes walk from everything in Amsterdam, including the RLD, countless museums, and the canals.

My room was literally right above the train tracks, and I could only hear a little noise as trains passed. Certainly not a bother.

The room is small, but comfortable. TV choices were a little lacking, but well, why go to Amsterdam and stay in your hotel room and watch TV, anyway...

The hotel was very central and within 5 minutes walk of the main attractions. The rooms very a good size and very clean with an excellent bathroom, however there was no kettle in the room.
The room was very quiet despite being almost on the train platform. The staff were helpful and friendly.
