“Great central location”
Reviewed November 18, 2013 via mobile

Stayed 3 nights Nov 8 to 11, good hotel with a very central downtown location. Easy walking distance to most of the sights within the old town. Decent size room and good buffet breakfast. Overall satisfied stay

This was the perfect location for Amsterdam City centre, walking distance from everything!!
Lovely room, friendly & helpful staff.. The room was really clean & included a tv with British channels. Mini bar items were extortionately priced, but are placed to tempt you...
Free wifi everywhere...
Breakfast was really expensive which was a shame.

very lovely hotel you could not want anything else, it is in the heart of Amsterdam ,it is about 3 min to red light district the staff at the hotel cant do enough for you the rooms are very big and comfortable and clean. Chinatown is not far as well, I would adviser people with someone in a wheelchair not to go there it is not wheelchair friendly, the people stare at you sometimes it is uncomfortable, apart from that it is a nice city.

Room Tip: try and get a room facing the lobby I was in room 135 1st floor

after reading some of the reviews I expected tiny rooms but room 512 was good size? Nicely furnished, provided extra pillows on request and tea bags with milk for a cuppa. The bar was great to end the night on a cocktail but agree breakfast area needs sorting as far too small for 25 euros a head. First day we went at 9am, heaving and no seats - second day at 9.50am, a few seat available.

This place is in the heart of the Old City and just a short walk to many sites such as the Anne Frank House, canal cruises, and Dam Square, as well as great shopping and eating.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We were originally given a room with no view despite asking for one. But after returning to the lobby, a room with a view suddenly became available.
The fitness center is adequate. I was able to go when it was empty but I imagine when it's busy, there's competition for the machines as there is only one of each.
For those so inclined, there is a Coffee Shop right across the street.

Not a bad location but for €300 a night I expected the room to be on a par with other Radissons I've stayed at. Bathroom was tiny and the room very small. Staff were typically Radisson but other than that I wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

We had a business suite that was extremely modern and could be considered romantic. From what I see in pictures from other travelers, different rooms have different feels. The room was extremely large, even by U.S.A standards. Room, restaurant and lobby all perfectly clean and welcoming. Shower had a rain showerhead and detachable nozzle. Great!
We visited during November, where the days were dark and rainy but the lighting in the hotel, made you perk up. Other hotels we visited on the same trip weren't lit enough and you felt sleepy all day.
Only negative, we did have the extra television channels as part of the business package but still could not find many English channels to watch.
Package came with a superior breakfast, but I can't speak to it as we didn't get up in time.
Great location with many attractions within walking distance.
