Very comfortable and sleek hotel. Priced right. Hip decor. Good restaurant & happening bar with attentive servers. Gorgeous down comforters, immaculate linens. See hotel photos for bathrooms, very well designed. Our traveling companions did not have hot water for one of the two nights we were there. I would have a written a different review had that been my experience. Located short walk to the Rijksmuseum, which on its own is worth a visit to Amsterdam.

Room Tip: We requested a quiet room and ended up facing the back lot of the hotel. If you select a room overlo...

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your kind words. Sounds like that you had a great stay with us. Good to read that you love our restaurant MOMO that much. Hope you've tried our shared dining concept so that you've tasted a lot of different dishes from the menu. I do want to apologize for the inconvience that your travel companions experienced, I trust that we all sort it out during their stay. So hopefully we have the honour to welcome you all again in Park Hotel Amsterdam.

Warm regards,

This is a clean, well appointed - modern hotel and the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful.

I had a basic room (I was on business) and so I would say it's a little on the small size. Ok for one person or one night. If you are a couple or are staying a couple of nights I would consider upgrading from the most basic room to gain some more space and perhaps a view over the canal.

I ate breakfast in the hotel which was really good quality. Hams, cheese, breads, salads, cereals, bacon - you name it, it was there. There was always plenty and regularly restocked.

We had lunch provided as part of our conference, and once again the food was very good quality.

All in all a very good hotel, which I would definitely recommend.

To write in your own words, what an exceptionally pleasant review to read. Thank you for your kind words about the room, staff, MOMO breakfast and the lunch during your meeting in the hotel. Hopefully you still had some time to discover our beautiful city, if not, you must return to the Park Hotel someday to discover all the highlights of Amsterdam!

We stayed here for two nights as part of a long weekend in Amsterdam and would definitely recommend it.

It was a reasonable price, very stylish, the rooms were spotless and the bed was one of the comfiest nights sleep we've ever had. You get a nice balcony to look our on Amsterdam from and the rooms are an OK size with good lighting and mirrors. The only slightly odd thing is that there is no bathroom as such, just a curtain separating off the enclosed shower cubicle and toilet/sink. Not a problem really just a bit of a quirky design feature.

Really good location as was minutes walk to the main squares and canals. Oddly the thing I loved most about this hotel was the smell in the lobby!! AMAZING. Ended up buying the rituals fragrance sticks they used,

Stayed 2 nights on bed only basis. We were in the modern part. Smart and clean room. Polite efficient reception staff. Free wifi in bar and reception.

Chose the hotel for its location. Pricey but we booked late and there was little choice in this area. 1 min to the Vondelpark, 3 mins to the Rijksmuseum, 5 mins to the Van Gogh museum. Boat trips start opposite the hotel. Tram stop nearby and the shops and restaurants all walk able.

As the weather was so good I had breakfast in a cafe over the road, cheaper than the hotel!

Thank you for taking time to write! Did you also visited the renovated Rijks Museum during your stay? Definitly one of the highlights of Amsterdam. If not, you must come back and I do hope that we have the honour to welcome you again!

Location is great, especially for tourists. If you book the smallest room, that is what you get. We wanted to change to another room, not only because of the size but because of the bad odour in the hallway in the 5th floor, that can only be reached by lugging your own suitcases up one floor as the Elevator only goes to the 4th floor. The bathroom concept only works for large rooms, the open bathroom is very uncomfortable when you are two in the room.
The staff overall is very friendly and helpful, especially the night Manager and the Lady working at the Lobby cafe. Also a + is the bike rental Service that is provided by the Hotel. The Restaurant Momo is pricy but very nice. If you want to treat yourself to a nice dinner it is very recommendable.
Overall I would recommend the next higher category from the lowest. The Location is great, the Vondelspark and Rijksmuseum are right next door and 10 minutes by foot to Dam square.

Good rooms , good service , Good behaviour of staff , strategically located - 10 mins walk from the main street. Its nice to stay in this hotel as if you try staying in the main area i.e Dam it becomes very expensive so better is to stay here , much worth and just 10 mins walk . So its nice.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for leaving a review about Park Hotel Amsterdam.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at Park Hotel in the future. I was sorry to learn of your disappointment regarding the MOMO staff. We pride ourselves on our service at MOMO and I do hope you will accept that your experience in the evening is certainly not reflective of our usual standards. You have my assurances that this will be discussed with those concerned.
Hopefully we can welcome you again in the future!
