We stayed in the Park Hotel for 4 nights and found it to be a very comfortable and nice location. From our window we could see the canal, the Holland Casino, and the Hard Rock Cafe. It's a nice location for visiting the museum area, but it is about a 20 minute ride to train station/central part of town (longer depending on traffic).

The Blue Boat stand is right outside the front door so easy to catch a tour boat. The hotel also rents Vespa scooters.

We happened to be there during the Installation of the new King, so all of Amsterdam was one big party.

Fantastic location with attentive staff and great buzzy restaurant attached. Very near Reijksmuseum, canal trips and excellent shopping on the doostep. Good quality bed linens and quiet rooms. Will return.

Staff are welcoming and all speak good English. Our room was described as superior. It is superior to a broom cupboard but only just. The room is small, there is nowhere to put clothes other than a small hanging rail - not a wardrobe. No room! The bed was small but comfortable. Breakfast costs 23.5 Euros!! It's just ridiculous. I never tried it. Hotel location could not be better. Rijksmuseum is a short stroll as is the canal boat stations and tram stop. Nice hotel but very expensive for a 3 star hotel.

Room Tip: Don't choose a superior room.

First of all I want to take the opportunity to offer my apologies regarding the overbooking. I’m glad to read that we could still accommodate you at Park Hotel. Your stayed at our Superior Room type, a room with our open bathroom concept. Maybe you should try the Executive Room during your next visit. If you are planning a new trip to Amsterdam, and you want to stay in Park Hotel, please send an e-mail to reservations@parkhotel.nl so we can give you the best advice regarding your room wishes. I was sorry to learn of your disappointment of our restaurant MOMO. We pride ourselves on the service and food at MOMO so I’m sorry that we didn’t meet up with your expectations. Hope you had a fun time at our bar area.
Hopefully we can welcome you again in the future.

Warm Regards,

Bram van der Hoek

The staff were excellent. The hotel was not good. I was expecting a better room for the amount of money that I had paid. So here is the good stuff: Our room was in the old wing, so it was bigger than the new wing. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. The service was excellent. the staff was very courteous. When we encountered problems, they tried to compensate. Here is the bad stuff: which hotel does not have an iron in the room? I was told there was an ironing room on the next floor!! They did not have hot water in the morning. The staff was nice enough to give complementary drinks for the inconvenience. They charge you for everything. We wanted to check out 2 hours late and they told us that there would be a charge for every hour after 12. Another suggestion for the hotel would be to use more table and floor lamps than have ceiling lamps to make the room more cozy.

Booked into the Park by a group tour. The most pleasant surprise of a three week vacation. Located within walking distance of many Amsterdam's most visited sites(Van Gough Museum, Anne Frank House, Heinekin plant. Across from Hard Rock Cafe and Canal boat tour. Short tram ride to anywhere in town. Pleasant congenial staff always a plus and this one is a-one. Rooms clean modern and a warm fireplace in lobby gives you a homey feeling. Amsterdam is a great town and the Park is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for view of Hard Rock Cafe

I stayed at the Park Hotel Amsterdam for a weekend get away with my husband. The hotel is located very close to the museumplein, with all the great museums. It is also located 50 meters from the P.C Hoofstraat for those who enjoy a bit of upscale shopping.

The room is not very big, but quite standard for European rooms. It was clean, fresh and modern. If you like very soft beds, this is the place for you. It was way to soft for my husband and myself, but I cannot fault the hotel for our mattress preferences. We had a canal view and the room was surprisingly quiet to be so close to a busy road.

The breakfast was wonderful with a great variety of breads, rolls, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, pancakes etc.

The staff was very friendly and service minded.

We like to walk, and we walked all around town. It was about 20 minutes to walk to Anne Frank's house and about the same to the Dam square.

I have been to Amsterdam two times before, and this is by far the best of the hotels I have stayed in. I would come back to this hotel if I ever come to Amsterdam again.

Visited my old hometown again and liked the Park hotel again, room was at the front again, little smaller this time normal room no superior room. Was small window in the room but bathroom was big. Location stays the best, so tourist go to this hotel or around this location Lobby is good for having a coffee or meet some friends for drinks. Good vibe and people friendly again. Bed was slightly small for me and my wife and she thought was to soft, it was actually. But for sure would go again maybe will book superior room again think difference is quiet id actually bed is bigger and more light. The check in can be very busy sometimes so you have to wait a little bit, i personally did not have any problems .

Room Tip: Stayed in room 540 small room in the front, was nice to get Amsterdam feeling again.
