I was here for a conference and stayed a couple nights before. Meals are really expensive - recommend either going across the street to the Pain Quotidien or just down the street to the supermarket and grab a tub of yogurt and bread. However, staff were fabulous and the bar on the main floor is also a great place to grab a drink.

Truly enjoyed this hotel. I had a large corner room with a view of the city, a church, and the canal. The room was very large, particularly by European standards. The bathroom had a separate shower, tub, and dual sinks along with shelves for storage. Large desk area with good functionality. Large closet, safe, and plenty of extra storage. Turndown service nightly with robe and slippers. In addition to room service and the hotel restaurants there are many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was included in my room rate. The location is outside the center of the city, but reachable by public transportation. The tram is very close to the hotel. The hotel is a great value.

The hotel website advertises a great gym and spa. What they don't tell you is that it does not open until 0630 making a morning workout prior to business breakfast and meetings all but impossible or very rushed.

Hotel was good and staff were very pleasant, but early morning gym availability is the norm for a hotel of this quality.

Lovely clean, bright and modern hotel. Spacious and comfortabke rooms, beautiful bathrooms, nice spa. Good service. Great bar on 23 floor with amazing views. Definitely a 5 star hotel - with prices to match. Location not ideal for centre.

Stayed here while travelling for tourism and had a lovely time. The service was really impeccable and I felt that the management was really what you'd expect from a top quality Japanese hotel. Very professional, very consistent. That said, it's cut and dry. Don't expect funk or trendy design. The restaurant recommendations at the concierge, for instance, were fairly uninspired. It's also very out of the way. Its about a half hour walk to the city center, albeit a very nice walk along the canals. The hotel is also a few hundred meters away from a tram stop, if you are so inclined. At the end of the day, though, this is the bullet train of hotels: sharp service, but ultimately, not the centerpiece of your trip in any regard.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights over the weekend and really enjoyed my stay. The room was nicely laid out, and the decor in the room and around the hotel was beautiful. The hotel may not be in the "heart of the city" but is close to tram stops, and there is plenty to see and do in walking distance.
I think this is a fantastic four star hotel- I am not really seeing why it is ranked 5 stars given a lot of amenities (gym, fast wifi, breakfast) are not included. It is probably ranked with 5 stars due to the restaurants. Food is great, but on the expensive side for what it is. Nice for a weekend stay, but I think next time I would stay some place more central to the city and a bit cheaper.
