Myself, my husband and our adult daughter stayed in a family room. We were aware the hotel was a metro ride to the centre but it was convenient for the Amstel Arena where we attended a football match. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the Metro, trains are frequent and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the centre. The room had 3 extremely comfortable beds, a fridge for guests to use, television and free WiFi. We eat in the bar one night and although it was expensive ( it is a four star hotel) it was very nice. There are vending machines with beer, soft drinks and chocolate available. There are a couple of computers available free of charge, we printed off our boarding cards for the flight home. We would use this hotel again if we returned to Amsterdam.

Nice clean room, but had to haggle as the first offering was a bit disappointing. Restaurants and bar very overpriced. Nothing else in area but close to Metro. Also, a residential area across the river has bars, restaurants and shops. Trams here as well.

Nice, clean and well stocked rooms although quite basic. Although the location isn't the best there is a metro a 10 minute walk away which takes you to the centre. We got a taxi from the airport and paid €45 which we were told is average although be careful as we heard of British tourists being charged €100 - €200 for the same journey. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would reccommend as long as you aren't expecting a luxury room which was the only small negative.

We were at this hotel for three nights. We were using it as the base for investigating the Amsterdam area while awaiting a Rhine River cruise. The rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, and affordable. The front desk staff were most accommodating and helpful. The lobby is done in the new open sharing approach with common reading areas available from the lobby and the bar.
The front desk is not a desk at all but four individual podiums staggered across the lobby entrance. A comfortable and attractive approach. Unfortunately, guests should skip the restaurant. The food was okay but the quality was lost in the awful service (ex.30 minutes between the soup and the salad, 50 minutes for a sandwich) and rude staff. We did find local restaurants that were more than satisfactory - suggest "Trulli", an Italian restaurant just a 10 minute walk.

We had a 20 hour layover in Amsterdam and decided to make the best of it. We stayed at this hotel and walked about 25minutes to the Anne Frank House. I found the location of this hotel to be ok. It's close to the metro and within walking distance of many restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly but really busy. I found the room to be very clean. The room came with two double beds. The hotel was incredibly noisy. There's a day care across the alley and it's just a very busy area. Inside you can also hear everything. I don't think this hotel deserves the star rating it has.

We stayed here for 2 nights and I can say that we had a comfortable stay. The hotel has a modern interior and very cozy. The rooms were clean with free wifi. Breakfast was very good and generous in their entree considering it was a continental breakfast. I love their freshly squeezed orange juice. I cannot say much about the hotel reception staffs because our tour guide was the one communicating directly with them. But the ones in the restaurant were very cheerful and helpful. I had a great time staying in this hotel.
