The inntel hotel was friendly and clean the staff very help full especially the receptionists. The rooms were clean and big enough with a free safe and free papers every day. The lounge is small but friendly with a nice warm gas fire and bar. Free 30 min internet terminals in the foyer and free WiFi. Didn't have breakfast as too expensive. It was our wedding anniversary which we mentioned to receptionist in passing and a bottle off wine was delivered which was a nice touch. Overall a good hotel and we would recommend it.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor which was quite.

This hotel is all about location. Central to everything in Amsterdam central. Train station is 5 mins walk, red light 5 mins, shopping etc all on the doorstop.

Besides location its just OK. Styling isn't great, bedroom was quite small although had everything you need. Staff all seemed friendly enough.

Its a good hotel for a short stay in Amsterdam as you won't have to travel to far to see the sights etc. Amsterdam is a pricey location to stay if you want to stay central and this hotel is no different.

Room Tip: some rooms require a change of lifts on the second floor which isn't great if you have difficult...

We were 2 couples and spent 2 nights there. We arrived at 0800 in the morning and since they had a room available, we were allowed to check in early. THAT was nice and unusual in our experience.

The hotel is more than one building. To reach our room , we had to take an elevator up a floor, walk down a hallway (a pedestrian corridor above the street), take a second elevator and walk to our room. Not a problem for us but it could be if you had a lot of baggage or had difficulty walking.

Room had a terrific view of the nearby rooftops; we had the window open and there was virtually no noise whatsoever. Room size is average by European standards and certainly adequate.

Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was large and luxurious. In room electric kettle so you could make coffee and tea. Wi fi worked fine, both in the room and in the lobby. There is also an in-room safe.

Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet - very good. What stands out is that you were able to make your own fresh squeezed orange juice.

Inntel is centrally located; within walking distance of the train station. It could be difficult to find as it is on a side street; so get good directions before you arrive and do not assume your taxi driver (if you needed one) will know where it is.

I would recommend the Inntel Amsterdam!

Room Tip: If you want to have your window open, ask for a room that looks out on a quieter area. I suspect ro...

Dear Diane917,

Thank you very much for your nice review on Tripadvisor. Very nice to read that you appreciated the fresh squeezed orange juice. All those vitamines are a good start of the day. We hope to see you again in in Amsterdam and in our hotel.

This hotel is only less than ten minutes walk from the Central train station. If you are from UK and stayed in Premiere Inn before, this Inntel Hotel I would say is upmarket version of it.
The room we stayed in was clean, tidy. Bed was big and comfy. It also has a mini bar. The staff were all very polite, including the cleaning staff. A good base to explore the city. The breakfast is rather expensive at about 17 euro but is optional. There are much cheaper eating places near by.

I booked this hotel on lastminute.com and got a right bargain!! We booked a twin room and got a triple room, wasn't a problem, the room had plenty of space, the beds and pillows were so comfy!! The bathroom and shower was perfect. The location is fantastic, right in the centre about 5 minutes from the train station. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit to this hotel. The room was comfortable with two chairs, a small coffee table, mini fridge, kettle & mugs. Two UK channels on TV and free WiFi in room. We were on the third floor at the back of the first part of the hotel. The location is ideal and within walking distance of the Dam Square etc. We dined at Humphrey's next door - great value and booked on line before we left for Amsterdam (see reviews on here). Used nearby Walk to Wok for a tasty meal and the nearby Burger Bar. (don't be put off by the name see the reviews on here). Also nearby there is a great bar called De Wildman with many beers on offer.

The breakfast was expensive so we got ours from the local supermarket and ate in our room.

We walked to the Dam Square on Friday 25th Oct and found that there was a funfair which was a bonus. Mainly adult rides though. Apparantly it's held annually around this time of year. It was gone by Monday.

Will definately use this hotel again

Perfect place to stay if you like to be close to everything like coffee shops & restaurants Dam Square and central but still very well placed so everything is not all in your face, nice quiet relaxing room could of been a bit bigger but nothing worth complaining about clean building very good wi fi connection anywhere on site, staff seemed ok, would recommend to a friend and would stay their again.
