This is supposed to be a 4 stars hotel and you pay the price of a 4 stars.... No restaurant....no breakfast....no room service... room not clean ... no isolation ....plenty noise from the street. If i have an advice to give you « Never go to this place ». Vers Good location but such a bad hotel and bad service. I had to go to the market a 22pm to buy earplugs for the noise from the street.....240 € for one night ... Un véritable scandale.

We regret that your impression of the hotel didn't gave you a four star feeling. I was happy to learn that you spoke with the Front Office Manager at check out and a few of you discomforts were clarified. We strive that all our guests are informed of the construction that is going on prior of arrival. I was also happy to learn that you were satisfied with the size of the room and that you enjoyed the breakfast. I would like to thank you for your understanding nin this matter and we would be delighted to welcome you back again in our hotel after the refurbishment is done.

Very clean and great location, very central, surrounded by restaurants and shops.
Only thing we didn’t like our double bed was 2 twin beds together even the duvet were singles, so me and my boyfriend couldn’t sleep close to each other, not even share the same duvet, when we tried to sleep together the beds were getting away from each other and we would wake up almost falling in the gap between the beds!!! Also the pillows were not proper pillows they were cushions and there was only 1 for each bed !
Other then that we had an amazing stay.

Thank you for your review, pleased to read that you had an amazing stay in Amsterdam! Very sorry to hear about your duvets: our common practice is to provide you with a topper and a double duvet. We sincerely apologise that this did not seem to be the case for you and your boyfriend. Do feel free to approach us next time as I am sure we will hapily provide, and I will contact our housekeeping department to reaffirm that we always provide this to our guests that request to share a twin bed.
Once again our apologies, we are glad however that this didn't impact your stay too much and hope to welcome you back someday.

Booked here for 4 nights, got a fabulous room with balcony overlooking the main street and Dam Square. The room was very clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. I would like to go back when the renovations are finished and stay again. Honestly couldn't fault here.

This hotel is in a great location; close to Dam Square and right across the street from the light rail system which is SO convenient. Note: buy a pass for the light rail system for the length of your stay, it's fantastic. The room was quiet and clean, the only downside was the size of the room and the bathroom, both were very small (the price per night was on the high side, I suppose for the excellent location). The restaurant was being re-done, so we went next door to the ROYAL98 for breakfast (@ 15 eruos) and it was fabulous.

Indeed, unfortunately we do not have facilities to serve our own breakfast currently due to renovations, so we're happy to learn that the offered alternative was to your satisfaction. And being that we are in a historic building, our rooms are all different from each other in size and lay-out, which adds character, but also limitations in other ways. But please feel free next time to discuss with our front office staff, as we are always happy to see if we can accommodate you in a better suited way. Once again, pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our lovely city.

Small rooms and very expensive. Rude reception. Location not worth money. Restaurant not open. Breakfast not included in £300 per night single room.
Won’t stay here again as felt very overpriced for what you get. A 1,000 better places to stay in Amsterdam.
